Training as a system, not isolated courses

ICMED organises training in pathways by specialist area: quality in tissue establishments and transfusion services, ART/IVF centres, cell and gene therapy, transplant programmes. The catalogue includes course bundles, single courses and continuing education updated every year (ICMEDU365 2026), so that a team can build and renew its skills over time.

Catalogue, enrolment and user access are in a single online environment, ICMED Learning. ICMED is a national ECM provider recognised through AGENAS (ID 7158). ECM credits are assigned only to individual events that are actually accredited and are shown on each course page.

Training is linked to ICMED Magazine, ICMED's technical-scientific journal (ISSN 3103-1943), whose recent articles carry a DOI. The journal has an editorial line of its own, independent of the courses; an FAD (e-learning) course may in future be developed from one of its issues (see «From the Magazine to training»).

ICMED's training offer is structured in three complementary levels: scientific updating with ICMED Magazine and the future online (FAD) courses derived from its content; continuing education with ICMEDU365; and specialist qualification through advanced pathways such as Quality Manager and CAR-T Specialist. Each level can be chosen independently, according to your own needs.

Turning one issue of the journal into an FAD course is being planned: once defined, it will appear here with the reference articles and their DOIs, the learning objectives and the status. No FAD course based on the Magazine is available today.

What are the ICMED Professional Registries?

The ICMED Professional Registries are directories of professionals qualified in ICMED training programmes that provide for registration. Registration is subject to the conditions of each programme and is not automatic for all participants.
