What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They can be technical, meaning necessary for the site to work, or they can serve statistical analysis and marketing or profiling purposes.
Cookies set by icmed.net
The site sets a single first-party cookie:
- PHPSESSID — technical session cookie. It is needed for the site to work, for example to protect the contact forms with a token against forged requests. It is created when you visit the site, expires when you close the browser, is sent only over a secure connection (HTTPS), cannot be read by scripts (HttpOnly) and is not sent on requests between different sites (SameSite=Lax). It does not require consent.
The site does not set statistical, marketing or profiling cookies and does not use tools such as Google Analytics.
Third-party services loaded by the pages
Some pages load resources from external services. When your browser requests them, the provider receives your IP address and technical browser data and may set its own cookies or identifiers, according to its own policies.
- Google Fonts (all pages): typefaces requested from Google's servers.
- Google reCAPTCHA v3 (home page and Contact page): anti-spam protection of the forms. It may set its own cookies and analyse device behaviour to tell people from automated programs.
- YouTube (resources page): video thumbnails are requested from YouTube; the video loads from YouTube only when you press “play”, and at that point YouTube may set cookies.
These services are used for technical purposes (page appearance) and security (anti-spam), not for advertising or analytics. The site has no cookie consent banner and does not block these services in advance: because it sets no analytics or marketing cookies, it has no dedicated consent tool. To learn more about Google's processing see policies.google.com/privacy.
How to manage cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the technical session cookie may prevent the contact forms from being submitted.
